ProOptiMA Lab Recognized in Greek National Newspaper Kathimerini

The ProOptiMA Lab participated in the URIUS Undergraduate Research Internship Program, which builds partnerships between the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and leading U.S. universities.

This summer, Prof. Marianthi Ierapetritou hosted two NTUA undergraduate students in our lab: Anthi Polyzou and Panagiota Kokkoliadi. During their internship, they contributed to ongoing research in process systems engineering and gained hands-on experience working with our group at UD.

The URIUS program, recently featured in Greek national news (Kathimerini), highlights the strong and growing collaboration between NTUA and UD and reflects Prof. Ierapetritou’s commitment to facilitating international research opportunities.

We were excited to host Anthi and Panagiota this summer and look forward to continuing the collaboration in future years.
